Technical SEO

Make your site easy for search engines to crawl, understand and index, so your content can compete.

Overview

Great content cannot rank if search engines struggle to crawl it, misunderstand its structure or index the wrong pages. Technical SEO fixes the foundations: how pages are discovered, rendered, indexed and connected.

Having started my journey writing about blogging and SEO, I approach technical SEO from both sides — the developer who can change the code and the publisher who understands content and search intent.

Problems this solves

  • Important pages not indexed, or thin and duplicate pages indexed instead.
  • Crawl budget wasted on parameters, archives and redirect chains.
  • Missing or broken canonical tags, hreflang or structured data.
  • Weak internal linking that leaves key pages buried.
  • Traffic drops after a redesign or migration.

Features & deliverables

  • Technical SEO audit with prioritized fixes
  • Indexation and crawl management: robots.txt, sitemaps, canonicals, noindex
  • Structured data (schema.org) implementation and validation
  • Site architecture and internal linking recommendations
  • Redirect mapping for migrations and URL changes
  • Semantic HTML and on-page template improvements
  • Search Console setup and issue monitoring

FAQs

Common questions.

How is technical SEO different from regular SEO?

Technical SEO focuses on the infrastructure — crawling, indexing, speed, structure and markup. Content and backlinks build relevance and authority on top of that foundation.

How soon will I see results?

Some fixes, like resolving indexing problems, can show impact within weeks. Others build gradually. Search rankings depend on many factors, so no one can promise specific positions.

Do you add schema markup?

Yes — Organization, Article, Breadcrumb, FAQ, Product and other relevant types, validated with Google’s Rich Results Test.

Can you help after a traffic drop?

Yes. I look at timing, affected pages, technical changes and algorithm updates to find likely causes before recommending fixes.
