Website Speed Optimization

Find what is actually making your site slow and fix it — from render-blocking assets to server response time.

Overview

Speed affects everything that matters online: bounce rate, conversions, ad viewability and how search engines treat your pages. Google measures real-user experience through Core Web Vitals — Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) and Interaction to Next Paint (INP).

Speed optimization starts with measurement, not guesswork. I look at field data from real users where available, lab tests for diagnosis and the full request waterfall, then fix root causes in priority order: server response, critical rendering path, images, fonts, third-party scripts and layout stability.

Problems this solves

  • Failing Core Web Vitals in Search Console, especially on mobile.
  • A slow LCP caused by large hero images, render-blocking CSS or slow TTFB.
  • Layout shift from ads, embeds, web fonts or images without dimensions.
  • Sluggish interactions caused by heavy JavaScript and third-party tags.
  • Good lab scores but poor experience for real visitors.

Features & deliverables

  • Performance audit with prioritized findings
  • LCP, CLS and INP fixes implemented on your site
  • Image optimization: WebP/AVIF, responsive sizes and lazy loading
  • CSS/JS cleanup, deferral and critical path optimization
  • Font loading strategy and third-party script review
  • Browser, server and CDN caching configuration
  • Before/after measurements from the same test conditions

Process

How we'll work together.

  1. 01

    Measure

Capture field and lab baselines on your key page templates.

  2. 02

    Diagnose

Trace each slow metric to its cause in the waterfall and code.

  3. 03

    Fix

Apply the highest-impact fixes first, template by template.

  4. 04

    Verify

Re-test under the same conditions and monitor field data as it updates.

FAQs

Common questions.

Can you guarantee a 100 PageSpeed score?

No honest optimizer can guarantee a specific score. Scores depend on your content, third-party scripts and hosting. The goal is to pass Core Web Vitals for real users and make the site measurably faster, with before/after results you can verify.

How long until Search Console shows the improvement?

Core Web Vitals in Search Console are based on a rolling 28-day window of real-user data, so improvements appear gradually over several weeks after the fixes go live.

Will ads slow my site down?

Ads add weight, but their impact can be reduced: reserving space prevents layout shift, and careful loading strategies limit their effect on LCP and INP.

Do I need new hosting?

Not always. Many sites become much faster with optimization alone. If the server is genuinely the bottleneck, I will show you the evidence before recommending a change.
